Elevating theater arts in the Nyack School District.

At Nyack Drama Angels, we believe the performing arts have the power to ignite creativity, build confidence, and foster a strong sense of community in our students. As a dedicated parent booster organization, we provide the essential support that allows Nyack’s theater programs—renowned for their extraordinary talent—to thrive. While theater is offered as an extracurricular activity, it receives limited funding from the Nyack School District. That’s where we step in, ensuring our productions shine through community donations that help pay for costumes, pit musicians, lights, props, and other critical elements that bring each performance to life.

In addition to enriching our award-winning stage productions, we host high-caliber Masterclasses that inspire and educate our students. These sessions offer firsthand industry insights—covering everything from audition techniques to college paths—and future workshops will delve into acting, stagecraft, dance, improv, costume design, and more. By connecting students with seasoned professionals, we aim to broaden their horizons and deepen their passion for theater.

 

Our commitment to fostering the next generation of performers also includes funding senior scholarships to support further education. Nothing makes us prouder than celebrating our students as they embark on their future journeys, carrying with them the confidence, camaraderie, and creativity nurtured on our stages.
